Mission: The Sustainable Business Network (SBN) engages business and community leaders in building economies that are green, local, and fair.
Founded in 1988, The Sustainable Business Network of Greater Boston (SBN) is an organization of individuals, business and community leaders committed to changing the way the world does business. Once known as the RBA (Responsible Business Association), SBN changed its name in 2006 to reflect the growing consensus that, in order to survive and thrive, businesses must minimize the impact that their activities have on the earths natural systems.
SBN has over 20 years of experience in bringing together business leaders and others interested in topics such as business ethics, local economy building, environmental sustainability, social and environmental justice, and local food to share information and take action. Today we are building on that history in a new, intense effort to make significant progress toward a sustainable world.
